    Treatment of Gingivitis

Not paying due attention to oral hygiene, insufficient cleaning leads to inflammation of the gums and the formation of tartar. If left untreated, there may be the beginning of a process that can lead to tooth loss. Usually the treatment protocol begins with a good dental stone and plaque cleaning. Then, depending on the degree of the disease, it can be supplemented with ozone therapy, laser or mesotherapy. The number of sessions and control protocols may vary depending on the case. The most important factor affecting the success of long-term treatment in these patients is that the patients maintain the hygiene protocol that they apply literally after treatment.

    Deep Dental stone cleaning

The formation of dental stones can occur in almost everyone under today’s nutritional conditions. If the 6-month check-ups are carried out on time, the gums will remain pink and healthy due to the fact that they are regularly removed from the oral environment. However, if the controls are disrupted and the importance of oral care is not shown, the health of the gums will deteriorate, stones will multiply; in advanced cases, gum recession and bone resorption accompanying it may also occur over time. In such cases, not only externally visible stones, but also deeper stones that have entered the bone arch should be removed from the environment. The procedure performed under anesthesia may require 1 or more sessions. Watch our video to get an idea.

    Gingivectomy

It is the process of removing some of the gums from the arm part by cutting. It can accompany some systemic diseases, as well as it is a procedure that can be performed if the gums are enlarged for any other reason. Or the person may want the gums to look less for aesthetic reasons. In such cases, the gums are cut and leveled with a laser. Click here for the images before and after.

    Gingivoplasty

Correcting the appearance of the gums is the procedure for equalizing their level. It is mostly applied in patients who are planned to design a complete smile.

    Flap operation and bone surgery

There may be a retraction of the gums for any reason. In the event that gingival recession progresses to the roots, some treatments can be combined. In some patients, only soft tissue grafts are sufficient, while bone grafts may also be required in some patients. If our specialist doctors deem it appropriate to perform a treatment for how many sessions, a treatment plan is made according to it.
